If some of you may recall I posted a week or so ago about someone hitting my new truck with their door. well I wrk from 10pm-6am on A MILITARY BASE!!!!!!!! I come out this morning to find a scratch going from the headlight all the way to the back door. SOME AHOLE KEYED THE WHOLE SIDE of my truck...........***** Im telling you

That sucks man. I'd be PIIIIIISSSED if that happened to my truck, and its a freakin '97.

 

Estimate was for $800....I guess the security guards in my building are going to have to stop watching TV and go patrol the parking lot

Yea Im thinking it was the guy that hit my truck the forst time...Guess he got mad I reported it??? Put hey at least I got the locking gas cap so she still runs like a beaut even though the scratch makes it look like a pile of Shiat...I already told the MPs if I catch him or anyone they might as well plan the funeral now..............

 

Dad got keyed last year to the tune of 1200 on the 97. But he was at six or so different places, and they did the pass side, so he didn't notice. Call the insurance, and you get fresh paint out of it. Sucks, but the world is full of azzclowns.

Didn't you say in the one a few weeks ago that they have security camera's in the parking lot? I'd ask to view the tapes for that day and make sure who did it before I started pointing fingers. Chances are you are right BUT... If your not... Then your barking up the wrong tree and will accomplish nothing except maybe more damage to your truck, by creating or agging on yet another enemy to do something. JMO

 

Yea they have cameras that view the parking lot, but stupid me I parked as close to the guards as possible, you know the ones that "patrol" the parking lot. Well they didnt, all they do is watch TV all night, but that is my saving grace. I made such a big stink about it the government is picking up the tab on this one. So I am just going to sit back and watch Progressive and the Army duke it out.

 

On-Post damage to your vehicle, while parked, is supposed to be picked up by Uncle Sam. Considering the pay soldiers receive, I have no problem with that. I had a few things happen to my vehicle, while I was in; but, I was unaware of this and footed the bill myself. It really cut into my partying money, too.

 

Yea except Im not in anymore I am a contractor...no way could I afford the new truck if I was still making a grand a month....its pathetic what they get paid.
