The gas price in Va. for 93 is now around 4.00, what is the price in your neck of the woods. the lightning is parked indefinitely. Something has to be done.

Had some prices at 5.57 to 6.07 (for regular) here in metro Atlanta this afternoon! Apparently, a majority of our fuel here comes from the Neworleans area so the media has been predicting "shortages". Of course, those predictions are "fuel" for the price gougers!! Looks like I'm going to my "duel fuel" program on my DiabloSport chip!!

Yea I'd planned on taking the boat to the lake this weekend atleast once. But I cant afford it now. Takes me 3/4 of a tank to pull it there and back so... about $80 just to get it there??? I don't think so!

Well, maybe....

My truck is a MFV so thinking about spending the weekend building a stil to make my own ethanol. If I do then I will run atleast 50% gas 50% moonshine in the truck and maybe wifes too!

I'll be a certified Hillbilly then! Muhahahaha

nothing wrong with an asian car especially right now. Some people cant afford (oh wait their dad cant afford) to buy them a brand new 2005 f150 like some people Kinda hard to listen to chit for someone who doesnt work and doesnt know what it like to have to pay for something and work their
a*% for it. I bust my butt 40 hours a week and go to school full time and I appreciate what i have cuz i work for it. So if somebody works their butt off for "An asian puzzy car " thats their choice and some people would love to have an asian car. Just my .02 cents

It's not the price of gas that bothers me as much as the ramifications of the sudden 33% jump in the price of gas. Plan on your grocery bill going up, your electric bill going up, Hope you dont heat or cook with gas or have a gas hot water heater... Almost everything rely's on gas to get it to you in some way. With in the next month the cost of living is likely going to jump 60% or more because of the cost of gas. My wages won't go up 60%. Will yours?

I only wish.....I, unfortunatly, am salaried exempt.....therefore.....I put in my 40hrs.....plus a minimum additional 10hrs per week......but still only get paid my 40hrs......not to mention that we are a "quasi-government"....thus making rasies similar to the 4% state increase each year.....so this increase in cost of living does take a significant toll in my life....my lifestyle has changed as much as it could to adapt to these increases in society.....at least I am lucky enough to still make my ends meet....I just feel for those that can't.....Americans have been guilty of their glutonous ways for too long.....something has got to give...
