Angry Hurricane Katrina sucks my nutz!

First, I know this will be moved, fine do what you got to do.

Well, we are just getting to good cool racing and fishing weather here in New England, and my vacation came to a screetching halt this morning. To all the local NELO guys and JDM crew who I don't have time to say goodbye to, my ship (Hospital ship) just got activated, and I am headed down to New Orleans to provide emergency aid and relief to hurricane victems and workers. I'm sure I'll be in touch via computer, but I hope you guys have a good fall racing season and get some smokin new times.

JDM....I'll get those pumps in this spring, and have an 11 second MP/JDM truck this spring....sorry I couldn't claim that title this fall!

What he said. We have our hands full in the hospitals already, and I'm not even in the area that was hit. I know that ship will come in real handy. I've never been on it, but my NCOIC was on it for 2 years. From what she said its a fully capable hospital.

damn son

looks like no 11's now. Helping other people is more important. I wish I could do more sometimes but it's just not possible.

Be safe. I'll give you a shout to see how things are going!!!!

Thanks Guys. I swore I wouldn't let work ruin my summer, but this ship is a little different. As my girlfriend explained to her 5yr old daughter why I had to leave again, she said, "So he's going to be a hero for those people!" It just about made me cry. I never thought of it that way, and it made me proud to be able to help people out. (I also worked on an ammo ship, hehe, helping out, not so much!)
Rltripp...yes, its a 1000 bed state of the art hospital ship. Quite amazing to see. Something like a dozen xray rooms alone!
