My Father-In-Law was aboard ship at Pearl Harbor

He uses other words than “Jap”

Wasn't it Mitsubishi that built the "zeros" that the Japanese people used to bomb Pearl Harbor? I think that is correct but someone can correct me if I'm wrong. I'm sticking with American products.

Look at the papers; we have people suing companies because they sell us HOT coffee. (OH MY GAWD! THE NERVE! HOT COFFEE!) We have people eating fast food and blaming the fast food chain for making them obese!
Does this mean that I can sue Budwieser for all the ugly chicks I slept with?

I know a way, but it is ather painful. I broke my driving foot (ankle) yesterday and that pretty much stops me from buying gas as i am unable to drive with a cast on my driving foot. Insurance company wont cover me if i do!

Hopefully in a couple of months gas will be back to normal prices.
Later Trev

Welcome to the Coyote Ugly club. Ever been with a double coyote ugly?

Anyway, I was wondering when this would get moved out of the "engines" forum.

Gotta love it! 2 days ago I filled both tanks on my F150: 257.9 for 87 octane = $89.50 for the fill! Today, filled my 300M: 339.9 for 87 octane = $49.50! WTF?!?!

Did I read the news correctly? Has anyone else read that the oil rigs in the Gulf that were damaged by Katrina don't produce the quality of crude that this country uses for fuel production? They use it for other petroleum-based products but not gas. Is that right? If so, double WTF?!?!

It's getting to the point that the Powerball winner won't be able to quit their job if they win the $50 million, they'll just have enough money to buy gas to get to work!!!

When I was at the pump this morning, there was an elderly man with a Hyundai at the next pump cleaning his windows when I pulled up. I got out of the car and he was just setting the pump handle back in its cradle. He looked at the pump, then looked at me, shook his head, and said, "Holy Christmas. That's almost what I paid for this whole gawl-danged car!" I thought I was gonna lose it!

One last item, has anyone seen the episode of TRUCKS where they showed how to make biodiesel fuel out of vegetable oil? They have a website. http://www.biodieselsolutions.com/home/home.asp There's also more info on http://www.freedomfuelamerica.com/ I don't have a diesel, but this is pretty cool if it works!

i think gas station clerks just became the most dangerous job in the US with the rise in gas prices in past 2 days... but since gas is at $2.65 here... 55 gallons drum of oil that puts the price of a drum of oil at $145.75 a drum makes u wonder cause news said price of oil is $68 bucks a drum now... so that means $77.75 is the cost to refine that oil... yeah right!!!! were getting raped... no wonder prioffits are up!!!
