Weather in Denver in November
Hi..
My wife and I will be traveling to Denver and the surrounding area Veteran's day weekend (10th- 14th) for a vacation. Can anybody in the Denver area (or anyone who has been there) tell me what I can expect for weather? Will there be any snow? Is 4x4 for the rental vehicle a must?
Thanks in advance...
Rob

Unless you plan on heading up into the mountains, snow shouldn't be much of a concern that time of year. Denver proper will probably have similar (if not slightly better) weather than you would experience back in New York that time of year.
Don't fear Denver's weather dude. Best year round weather in the nation if you like a little of everything.
November is very unpredictable. I've seen 2 ft. of snow, and 70 degree average high temp for the month. The thing is, it's not hard to get around even if it does snow. It's the morons that don't know how to drive in snow that make travel suck when it does snow.
If you are from New York, and know how to drive in snow, you will be fine if it does snow. But to ask what the weather will be like is hard to say, because anything is possible, and no snow at all can be probable. Front wheel drive is fine, but 4x4 will provide you worst case protection.
It's Jan - March that the snow usually falls in Denver.
