Yeah me too. I came home yesterday and i was pretty pissed off for having my truck side swiped. So i took the gun out in frustration. Unloaded a couple rounds in the 12 gauge. God it felt good. My parents are worried about me now. I told them they better look out or they will by my next target. Punks.

Another one here. I love to shoot, but even more I like to collect. Especially ex-military.

I have Ger 98 from 1905, although stock is cut down. Inherited that one. An M1917 in 30-06, M1903/A3, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, and an M1A (civilian M14). Also have an Iraqi K98, but can't find a stock for it. The one it had was split and they are not quite the same as the Greman K98. Have a bunch of others, but those are the military style. Never really could get into the more modern military like the M16. Nothing wrong with them, just not my cup of tea.
Had 2 others that I sold when I was young and stupid. A mint German K98 and a mint 30-40 Krag. That one would now be worth over a grand.

One thing I have tried to do is find those that are in excellent condition. Not always easy. In the case of the M1's, both carbine and Garand, it is difficult to find them with all matching parts. Not worried about that myself, but if you ever find them with all matching, they are worth a good bit more.

Yeah, that's effing brilliant.

I'm a gun nut, but I prefer the GOA over the NRA. That said I'm a lifetime member with the latter. Was hoping to get to the range to sight in my .17HM2 today but no dice.

Ok so i was kidding. But really my truck was sideswiped and when i got home i decided to take one of my guns out and shoot a few rounds off. Just keep the barrel coated with some residue since its been awhile since ive shot it. I love semi-automatics. But for real you really think id do something like that to my rents. Sorry ive been reading too many sarcastic posts on the board.

Any who, i need to get my deer and pheasant license for this fall. Just trying to decide which seasons to go for muzzleloader.

Life time member here!

Mine are mostly utilitarian. One french model 12ga over and under. Gift from my great grandpa. It's worth about $6,000 "actualy more becasue it has been heavily tooled with hunting scenes in the reciver and stock plus has gold enlay", One Colt, Ranger .22 revolver, Estimated value of about $1200. Rest are all hunting purposes. Mostly pumps in shot guns and some High power rifles, "except daughters youth model single shot .410," some bolt action rifles, and my small .22's are automatics except the colt revolver and the girl's Youth Model single shot .22.

I was a member, but I've let my membership lapse.
The wife and I were out yesterday w/ my Taurus 9mm, Henry .22 rifle, wife's FireStorm .380, and my new (to me - lightly used) .45 ACP S&W 457.

The wife got me a skeet thrower for Christmas, so back in the spring I had to go out and buy a Remington 870 Express w/ black synthetic stock and 26" barrel.

Anyone into the 'evil' bullet hoses? AR's, AK's, FAL's, UZI's etc? One of these days when I'm not broke and perhaps infamous I'll buy some class III toys.

I have thought about something like a Thompson, but just am not ready to go through the hassle of an FFL. That plus the cost and finding a place to shot it. I could buy a semi-auto version, but it just isn't the same.

As for an AK, haven't ever had one. Years ago I had an SKS and a Mini-30, fun to shoot, but not really in my collection range.
