End of summer blues, anyone else

So how many of y'all started back to classes today

or next week?

what school do you attend?

I attend USUHS.
Today was my first day back after relatively easy summer classes. WOW, it's gonna be a doozy. I'm already behind. and i already don't like the class

I'd much rather be goofin' around w/ the truck.

Well I'd better get back to the books.

Been a lot of summers since I had to worry about going back to classes. For the last several years I've looked forward to the last week of September. That's typically when we get our first taste of relief from the heat, afternoon temperatures don't quite break 90. Oh, we will get more 90's temps in October, but the last week of September is our first taste of 89 as a high temp.

I'm still in High school and we started back last friday . The only real class I have is English so this year should be a breeze. I've got shop 1,2,3 period and computer classes the rest of the day except for football 7th period. Thank god football season is here. I dont really hate to see summer go because practicing football in 110 degree heat sucks . Short shorts and short skirts will turn into long pants and long sleeves(the only part I hate about winter). Football season officially starts sept. 2 woooooohoooooo

Yep -- I used to hate seeing the first of September roll around.

But now that I live in Houston I love it because it means that there's only ONE MORE MONTH OF INSANE HEAT AND HUMIDITY TO ENDURE before relatively decent weather returns to southeast Texas!

I love the fall... college football in a couple weeks, cool weather, end of summer blow-out parties, sleeping with the windows open again, hockey, ahhhhh... Michigan in the late summer & fall is the best. Why would you want to be anywhere else?

I'm with you there. I have Fall Fever soooooooo bad. I've started stacking the wood and am ready to burn it. Give me football and cold weather and I'm a happy camper!

Summer sucks here in California. It's a great time to get over to the ocean but that's 2 hours away from Sacramento so it's not some place I can go every day. So in the meantime I have to battle with 90-110 temps for 3-4 months. Yuck!

I knew you would say something of that nature...

so you are saying you would much rather walk around town and look at women with sweaters and wool skirts with no skin showing than have a 20 year old hottie walking around in a pair of lowrider short shorts, and a little baby doll tank top with the big ol hootie cans begging to come out???
