I've worked with video editing but had never made an animated .gif until about a month ago. That one is my first one.

Thanks jpdadeo, it's still 524 KB not friendly for our dial up members, plus after what RJS said I think he might be right.. It is alot of movement and color change. It would grab attention, but probably to much... Might make it hard to read a thread because everytime that the doors open or close your eye would want to go to the movement! I got inspired while at the hospital today, I may have another idea that isn't as flashy. I'll work on it when I have some time.

I'd still like to know why it grows when I upload it. That image started out on my hard drive as 166 KB, after I upload it then it became 666 KB for the same file?!? jpdadeo got it down to 524 KB. That's still a lot bigger than the orginal 166 KB. Maybe my next one wont be an evil image possesed by the devil and marked with the beast like this freak of a .gif has been!

Great JJG052590 , I knew these guys could hook you up! I just got back from the hospital. I'm now officailly an Uncle! Her first kid and she popped it out in 30 mins, no kidding! Now to make a 3 hour drive here in about 20 mins to pick up my brother at the airport! Then 3 hours back home. his plane is suppose to be in at 11:40 so if it is not delayed that puts me back in town at about 2:40-3:00 am. I'll post more details tomarrow. I'm so proad I've always wanted to be an actual uncle. Lots of my friends kids call me Uncle Matt but non of my brothers have been fruitful yet! My youngest one finally pulled throu!
