Yeah I'd definatley say he can. I'd like to get in a brawl with jamz just to see what he's made of.

First and last time that I did that, I got my A$$ kicked by an 18 year old kid! D@mn those things hurt! I'd rather be hit with bare knucles! I can take multiple bare knucks. With the gloves on I gave away a punch to him so that I could open him up to put a move on him. But when the one I gave him landed... OMG I literally saw stars for the first time in my life! He couldn't hit that hard with bare knucks! I'd rather be kicked in the ribs!

 

i'm the complete opposite, i've been boxing for 4 years now and i'm finnaly starting to get the hang of it, but i'm not much of a streetfighter.

 

Ha! I've went head to head with gloves on with one of my friends. Let's just say he didn't want to go anymore after the first bop upside the head. He couldn't hit me, so I gave him a free shot. Big mistake.

 

Ive boxed everyday since I can remember and till this day im never ready to get hit....It never feels good

yup! there's nothing worse than getting caught in the jaw. i'm sure imurhuklebery knows what i'm talking about!

 

I don't know how you guys can take a hit from those things. It might be harder to bruise with them but it is such a blunt blow it just rings your bell! Plus it's harder to get a hit in with them. I'll never put on another pair again!

 

its not as bad when you get used to it, i'm not saying it doesnt hurt, but you kind of get immune to the pain. i took up boxing just to stay in shape, and now i love it

i like to put a "dash of salt" on their open wounds after i bust up they're eyes. lol, thats the best i could come up with.

 

It really didn't hurt that bad... It was just a jab so there wasnt alot of power behind it. BUT man it rang my bell good!
On the street it's not unussual if someone is giving a good block after 10-15 seconds of not getting thruo, I'll drop guard and give them an opening to put one where I want them too. They hear the pop and think they've done something, "Tehehe" then I go into a roll til they fall! Then jump on them and make them regret they ever took the swing!
