New to F150

Hey guys! I've been a frequent on Stangnet for about 3 years and have bought an 01 F150 over the weekend so I need to familiarize myself with the "modding" world of the F series. (limited I'm sure) To keep this short, my truck is solid black supercab w/ 4.6 and auto trans. It's stock for now except for the billet grill, but I definitely want exhaust. This thing is SO quiet! Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks!
Mike

HA! Thanks! I should know better than to post like that. It happens all the time on Stangnet too and the newbie usually gets roasted! I've been looking at searches on exhaust and stuff but haven't seen a lot of what I'm looking for. And when did mufflers for trucks et so expensive? :o Good grief! HA! I thought stuff was expencive for Mustangs.

Good Magnaflow catback, Troyer tune, and a CAI should be everybody's first mod. Just like 'stangs, the sky's the limit. If you got the $$$.

Mike, Welcome to the wacky world of f150online.

The first mod should have been buying the 5.4, not the 4.6
Oh well I'm sure you have a nice truck. As far as modding, i put all my spare cash in my stang, so i have no idea on modding. I just keeping these trucks maintained and running.

Thanks guys! I can handle the roasting. I've been on Stangnet for 3 years so I've seen just about everything. I'm working on getting a few pics on here. I can't wait to get some kind of exhaust on this truck that makes it actually sound like a V8. I can't believe how quiet it is with the stock exhaust. I'm sure after hanging around here for a while, I'll figure out what I need to do. Thanks for the greets and we'll be seeing you around!

Mike
