If they are building a new one, shouldn't it be more high tech, maybe a giant LCD system with high contrast so you could watch during the day, and killer giant sound system so you don't wear your battery out . . . .

maybe something like:

In my area we have 5 drive-ins. Two of them have 4 screens and another has 2 and one has 3. Big time comeback around here and 2 of them are brand spanking new!!. The new one holds over 4,000 auto's (4) screens.

There's one here in the Denver area I know of. I use to date a hottie who lived real close to it so we went a few times. Ahhhhh....memories.

I can honestly say that in my lifetime (I'm 40) I have never seen a new drive-in movie theatre being built! In fact, the only thing I've seen is them slipping into disrepair, and then eventually being torn down for a McDonalds and a new strip mall!

I'm pumped and can't wait to load up the cooler and go!

We have one in Ennis, TX. It has 3 screens. I believe you can hear the sound through your radio.

they just opened a new one a few miles down the street from my house just a couple of months ago. Haven't had a chance to make it there yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Yep, here , just take 101A through Nashua, then Amherst, and keep going. The radio thing is a PITA since my truck shuts all electrical accessories off every ten minutes.
