The power in the GTO is about a 7 but nothing in the new GTO resembles that of the first GTOs, that why for my it got a 3. I have driven in all the cars in my first post.

My 05 Gt is faster than the 04 Mach 1 I traded in on it. The more it breaks in the faster it gets. It does feel sluggish in the middle of the day with the AC on.

The S2000 is no joke, but the editors at Motor Trend said "To get maximum performance out of it, you have to drive it like you hate it."

They were saying that this car could smoke the unsuspecting Corvette (C5) owner, due to it's power-to-weight ratio and gearing.

If it'll smoke the unsuspecting Vette owner, it should be able to dust off the "suspecting" Mustang owner.

Don't let the fact that it only has 4 cylinders fool you.

4's to watch out for.

Neon SRT
WRX
WRX Sti
Evolution
Cobalt SS

The first four have a good chance of beating you, no matter how well you drive. The Cobalt is capable of dusting you too, especially if you miss a gear, or shift too soon.

I smoked a 5.0 Mustang GT with my 1997 Maxima SE. The look on the drivers face when we got to the next light.... Priceless...

My Max was bone stock....
