Hmm. Both domains were registered yesterday. One to a PO Box in Los Angeles, the other to a location in Auburn, AL. The L.A. domain registrant references the Alabama domain. I see the LA connection. What is the Alabama connection? I sleuth when I am suspicious...ok, maybe the Auburn connection is that GoDaddy, the registrar, is in Alabama??

Don't forget Raoul, Walken is a really good dancer (saying don't forget assumes you knew this already...if you didn't, he started out as a dancer).

And a good politician needs to be able to dance around just about everything . . . so he might have all the experience he needs.

As the "winwithwalken.com" site references, he supposedly held a "private press conference" yesterday. I would assume that "press" would attend such an event. No mention of it on Google or Yahoo! news...

If a celeb of Walken's stature announced he was running for prez, "privately" or otherwise, it'd be all over the American Press.

Besdies, you don't "announce" something like that "privately" (besides the fact that the two terms are mutually exclusive), if you want to be prez, you need all the publicity you an get for as long as you can get it.

All these red-blooded, apple pie, truck drivers might be singing a different tune if they knew more about the man they would support.

Has a intense fear of riding too fast in an automobile.
Has an intense dislike of firearms.

Chris prbably comes down somewhere Left of Hillary.

Want some 'Ted Kennedy' fodder?
Chris was on the boat with Robert Wagner the night that Natalie Wood drowned. Chris and Natalie had just finished the 1981 movie 'Brainstorm'.

I definitely smell a hoax. According to the whois record, the domain registrant for walkenforpres.com, which is, according to the site, the official site for his "campaign" is:
Christopher Walken for President
Christopher Walken for President
PO Box 46588
Los Angeles, CA 90013
US
Phone: 213-985-1908
Email: campaign@winwithwalken.com
Note that the email address referenced is "winwithwalken.com"

On the "official" Walken campaign site, they now quote Matt Butler, Blogger from www.winwithwalken.com. Why would the official registrar of a presidential candidate's domain be a blogger that endorses him?

Oh, the site also mentions a press release from today that made the announcement official. See my reference above. Terrible newswire these guys have.

Can anyone find a newspaper called California Post?

Oh man . . . THAT made me laugh!

Seriously though, if he actually did have aspirations to run, the Natalie Wood thing would sink him before he ever got started. (pun intended)

That's the kind of thing that will keep you from being Prez faster than you can announce your candidacy.
