Ford In Africa
Hey Folks I am in Angola (West Coast of Africa
) anyway I was getting off the chopper today and saw a lonely late model F-150 there in reasonabley good shape except for a few bullet holes in the bed, almost no rust, dirty as sin... The guys there told me she still runs good (eye of the beholder) - unfortunately I didn't have my camera - maybe next time she'll still be there and I'll get a pic.
Later.

I guess I was just suprised to see a F-150 in such good shape when everything else was in... well, not so good of shape. Just thought I'd share it with you in case anyone else was as amused as I was.

The way the original post was going, I thought you were leading upto some Nigerian oil scam joke but you never got to the punchline.
Hey, I worked in Angola too.
Lived in Luanda for 18 months during the civil war.
I can honestly say that is one place I have no desire to go back to.
This is before the digital camera age so I'll try and find some pictures when I get home this wek and scan them in.
