TSB's... about 30-40 for the F150... Having a specific problem? TSB's are NOT recalls, they are only valid if you're experiencing the problem.

 

I've only had the truck about 3 weeks. Just the normal "clunk" in the rear end at low speeds when accelerating. Haven't really had any problems except those caused by my dealer.....stupid mistakes like not completely checking fluid levels. They released truck with transmission fluid level low by 1.5 quarts........

SHUDDER/VIBRATION ON MODERATE TO HARD ACCELERATION
"Some 2004-2005 F-150 vehicles may exhibit shudder/vibration on moderate to hard acceleration."

REAR AXLE NOISE REPAIR
"Some vehicles may exhibit an axle whine or hum during acceleration, deceleration and/or cruise."

***This one sounds similar, but is only written for 2WD models***

CLUNK OR BUMP WHEN STARTING FROM A STOP
"Some 1997-2005 E-Series/F-150/F-Super Duty 4x2 vehicles may exhibit a driveline clunk or bump that occurs as the vehicle starts to move forward, following a stop. This condition may be caused by the slip yoke not sliding smoothly on the output shaft splines."


All of them are cheap, and easy repairs so if you want to avoid dealer contact (which I do at all costs) I will give you more information on them.

Keep in mind, Ford dealerships are not Ford Motor Company employees, they are contracted to sell our cars.

 

Can you get me a copy of TSB 05-14-02 for the headliner rattle and what exactly does. Can you post/e-mail a copy of the repair or just the symptons?

Kitt. I need TSBS related to clunk in the drivetrain, steering wheel nibble, vibration, 4wd acting up, squeak in the steering wheel and the rear suspension. Thanks man!
