( Normally I wouldn't want to be awaken 3-hours prior to the start of my shift- but, that's the kind of wake-up call I can live with. )

My wife and I were 300 feet apart when we went to Korea in 1994-1995; whereas 95% were on a true hardship tour. Inevitiably this conversation woudl come up, and people would say- It's been 2 months, 3 months, 8 months, 11 months...

Hersh, when was the last time for you? And I'd say- "Well, it's 3:30 now, Oh... 3 hours and 15 minutes ago (nooner)..."

Then would come the "F-you Hersh's"

It was all good fun...

Everybody wasn't suffering over there- there was a LOT of infidelity going on over there- they called Korea "TDY".

Well being married does have its perks...last time was yesterday afternoon at 3:00. We haven't missed too many days since the wedding other that when Aunt Flo comes to visit. Of course she's a welcome guest.

so now its confrontation time

the shouting gets so loud the neighbors call the law

you get thrown in jail
you cant make bail
you loose your job
loose your wife/hubby/whatever
loose your house
loose it all
and end up a homeless hopeless drunk out on the street
