What's your favorite classic rock bands?
My favorite bands are: The Police, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Hoghat, Black Sabbeth, Van Halen, Guns N Roses, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Billy Idol, and Foreigner. 
These are just some of the bands I like. So, what's your favorite classic rock bands?

Not many if any "Bands" that I like.
Alot of them put out alot of good songs but can't credit any one band for my inspiration. Many have gotten me through many various times in my life.

The Beatles
Hendrix
The Rolling Stones
Zeppelin
Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush ... GO ZAPSTER ! ( the live album kicks it )
Captain Beyond ( their first album is still in the top 15 of most underrated
albums of all time ) if your a drummer you need to check this one out since
he ( Bobby Caldwell )wrote a/o co wrote the whole thing. He was also an
unknown session drummer doing Edgar Winter and Rick Derringers platnum
discs........ ( among others )

Van Halen ( original D.L.R fronted not Van Hagar )

Damn, I must be getting old if bands like GnR, Rush, ZZtop, and VH are considered classic. :o .
Funny thing is the classic rock station here in Raleigh play these bands.
Guess I need to break out the geritol.
