Bought a new air compressor

Bought a new air compressor today at the big orange box store. 26 gallon upright, oil lubricated compressor. I've had an old POS Craftsman oilless for the last 5 years, what a total piece of crap. The new one has twice the capacity and takes less than 1/4 of the time to fill up. It is also a lot quieter.

Now I can buy lots of expensive air tools that I don't need and won't use! Actually, my main use for it is cleaning/ servicing my saws. I blow them out and clean the air filters a couple times per week. I guess I can buy an impact wrench although I have very little use for it. I can spin lug nuts off with a lug wrench, not that I pull off my wheels very often.

Nope, I refinanced my house. I lowered my interest rate and pulled out $40K to buy a bucket truck, and the bucket truck is only $21K. $6K for insurance, registration and parking leaves me $13K. So I'm buying a few things I've wanted for a while and I'm still going to maintain a $8K-$10K savings account for 'rainy day funds'.

My mortgage only went up by $200 per month and the truck will increase my income by $2K per month. Or it will allow me to work 8 months per year instead of my current 10.

sounds like a good deal to me. Work less, get paid more and get some new toys in the process.
