Redstone Arsenal...lots of Army military history here. This is where they brought Wernher Von Braun, the German rocket scientist, after WWII, to work on his toys (rockets). This is a 1950's photo, one of the buildings here. There are hundreds and hundreds. The complex is many thousands of acres. A few short range firing ranges.
