And yet another new F150 owner arrives

I stumbled upon what I think was a great deal and am now the owner of a 1992 F-150 Custom. Admittedly it's certainly nowhere near as nice as the sweet newer rides many of you have but it's still an F-150. What's better is that I got it for $1000 cash. It's a 2WD 5.0 V8 regular cab with working a/c and has a cd player. It was a basic work truck that belonged to some older folks that my parents know. I doubt they had any idea what it was worth but it has been well maintained and has no defects. I bought it sight unseen based on my dad's knowledge of it's condition (and the price too). I figure any F-150 that runs has GOT to be worth more than $1000. I'm picking it up next week in East Tennessee and will post a picture as soon as I get it. I'm 38 and this is my first truck. I bought it primarily to use for towing mine and my girlfriend's Harley's and for general carrying of stuff too big to fit in a car.

Again, it's not a shiny fast new F-150 but I'm still excited to be getting it.

welcome to the board, and congrats on the truck.

Welcome to the forums DeadBirdDog. Where'd you come up with a handle like that? Nah, it's cool. Congrats on the f150! Sounds like you got a good deal.
