I'm happy . . .

I got my car detailed today. Yeah, I know, I'm not talking about a truck, but it really needed it and now it's all . . . CLEAN . . . and then some.

I just wanted to share the joy.

We now return you to your truck forum, which is already in progress.

Did I mention that I was happy??!!???!!! (Clean vehicles do that to me).

Maybe, just maybe, if all the vehicles in the world were detailed clean, there would be no wars, no sickness, no poverty, just one big, happy, clean vehicle world . . . where all of us are bothers, and the world is a harmonious, loving place . . . .

NAH!

Well, at least my car is clean.

To quote Dennis Hopper . . . "No way . . . MAN !!!!"

However, to keep it rather psychedelic, and to make up for giving Urban Cowboy a hard time about having a pink flamingo in his front yard, I present my clean car (did I mention I was happy?) with flamingo added in the name of world peace and happiness . . . .not to mention comic effect:

And lees99F150, speaking of "the works" the guys that do the detailing even hand clean the engine:

Ah yes . . . it's stuff like hand cleaning the engine that makes me VERY happy . . .

Continued . . .

I've been using them for years . . . .

check out the work they did on my first Lightning:

Gosh I miss that truck (my first one, I wasn't all that enamoured with the second one)

Here she was shortly after I got her:

Yup . . . nothing beats a freshly detailed vehicle, clay bared, smooth, super shiney, sparkly engine, leather all treated and shiney . . .

Yes, it promotes happiness, good will toward others, and, if all members of the planet had it done at the same time, it would promote world peace.

So go, have your car or truck . . . or your car AND your truck, or both your trucks, or whatever it is you have, go . . . and have them detailed.

FEEL THE JOY !!!!

Oh gosh . . .

almost forgot to add the Dennis Hopper / Urban Cowboy / psychedelic / flamingo thing to the Lightning pix:

That's better . . .

Far out . . . MAN.

I'd love to but that would cost atleast $500 (at $100 per vehicle) then I couldn't neglect the boat so would have to have it done too. I'd hate to see what a boat detailer would charge! But I may get out and detail truck + Exploder + boat this weekend.

Nah... I live on a dirt road and it has only rained once in 2 months so would be dirty before I even got to drive them!

Ya'll just jealous but I bet you can find pink flamingos for your lawn on ebay.
BTW, I prefer a dirty truck to a clean one.

Pink flamingos in ones yard is a statement, and it should be taken seriously.

You all have been warned.
