Last night/Today was a very sad night and morning for myself and many others. We lost a truely special person we all loved, Russell Scott Mills. Russell just got a brand new Mustang and was testing it out with some friends last night when they hit a set of railroad tracks at 110 mph. The car flew 15 ft in the air, hitting a tree. Upon the hit with the tree the car split into two peices, causing Russell, Ricky, and Cameron to be thrown from the car. Everyone survived upon impact, Russell tried to call his mom but couldn't get through to her but called his Aunt. While they were talking and he was screaming help, he died. Ricky broke his back, both of his legs, his hips, his arm, ribs which then punctured both of his lungs, ruptured spleen. He had surgery this morning and hes going to make it and hes not paralyzed fortunatly. Cameron came out with just bruises and scrapes. I don't want to hear about how he shouldn't of been doing 110 mph in a brand new car but this was only intended to get my feelings out. I don't want to hear any lectures and if you start it only shows how unconsiderate of a person you are. This will be my 3rd friend I've lost this year, its just so stuiped.

It's hard losing some friends like that, Last year 3 kids from my shcool left school early and they were going about 85 around a semi curve and hit a guy in a truck head on. They were trying to hang the curve and were driving on the wrong side of the road and they couldntsee they guy because of some trees. The girl driving was a senior and the boy in the passanger seat was a sophmore and the girl in the back was a freshman. I'm not going to explain all of the injuries because it was the worst thing I have ever seen in my entire life. It looks like the car was just pushed in by a bulldozer. None of them made it. Something like that always stays in the back of your mind and it's a hard thing to deal with. My prayers go out to all of their families.

The car actually did a front flip when it hit the railroad tracks and then hit the tree. Once it hit the tree the car was just ripped into pieces. No one really knows if they were wearing seat belts or not.

Thats horrible. Same thing happend to my moms best friend in high school she got a brand new vette and in north alabama where it is pretty hilly she launched herself and a friend off of one of them and into a tree at about 150 mph. Both were killed instantly.
Its really sad, me and my friends do some stupid crap and i just thank god that i havent had to go through any of that, makes me think about what could happen.
Hang in there and hopefully everyhting will turn out.

Sorry to hear... I too have lost several friends to similar accidents...

Just curious though, is there no 911 service where they were?

There was 911 Service, FHP (Florida Highway Patrol) made it to the scene in 5 minutes since they have a station sort of close by. Russell only lived for 3 minutes after the first call he made on his cell phone. Apparently someone saw the whole thing, an older man. He said he could hear Russell screaming his lungs out for help for a little while and talking to someone and then he heard him just go quiet.
