Photoshop this, please :)

Can someone please do this for me? Take the image below and color in the deck floor to be a similar color to the house siding. Then post it so I can see how it looks I appreciate it!

Maybe a little darker than the siding too. Whichever you have time for.

Try this...

I edited it to include a link instead of a direct image here.

I build a lot of decks in my spare time and I can already tell you that if you choose a color similar to that of your siding that it will look a little funky...Are you planning on painting it or are you going to replace the whole decking system with a new one?

It's not my house...but the plan is to stain/paint it. I think it would look better darker, right?

I personally like it when a deck "accents" a home...thus, choosing a color that will stand out...softly, not loud...

so, base on just that picture (not seeing what the rest of the surroundings look like) I would say something that is darker than the siding...but not as dark as the current deck looks like...IMO

If it was my house, I'd want the paint that is on it stripped, then sanded and sealed. If it has to be a "color", go with a pecan stain maybe.

Thanks. I think you're right about a darker color but not really dark. They don't want to pay to have it stripped.

Yeah...it can be pretty costly to strip a deck...but it is really not fun painting one either...is the wood still in good shape?

I think it is. Haven't seen it in person though. They just had the whole house painted, so I guess cost is a consideration.

If I was at home and could photochop that deck in a pecan stain like color (lighter), you'd see what i mean.

Can anyone try that for me?

I'm all Talk. I have photoshop and I can use it but it's at home and I only waste time at work. Besides, I'm a perfectionist so everything I do in photoshop takes a couple hours.
