What to do with FORD

Try to make it a short story

4 July 04 my 02 SCrew was hit in the parking lot at wally world. So my wife said I know you have been looking at getting a new truck, so why not get one. Well I wanted a F250 but didn't like the total cost. So I got my current 05 KR (Nov 04). When the family plan came out my wife said I know you wanted a F250 so why not get one, I like the new truck and will keep it. So great I started looking for the truck I wanted, I couldn't really find the exact one I wanted. So I started searching all the dealers in SC, Jax FL and even Tampa FL where my mother-in-law lives. I found some minus this or that but I could live with them. I sent in the request quote via the internet, so too my point and question.

I haven't received anything from the dealers except the auto email and some ads. I keep looking and most the the trucks are disappearing from the inventories. I even emailed FORD customer service and have recv'd butkus.

I have the owners email address here locally and am thinking of emailing him direct to tell him how I have emailed his dealership 4 times and nothing except some sales guy emailing me what he said was a sticker and a note that pictures were coming in a couple days. I was going to attach the details of the truck I want and see what he will do with it.

I already have it drafted, just want to know what you think.

Thanks

Edited: A BIG THANKS to my BEAUTIFUL BRIDE for always looking out for me.

or did she just want the new KR.

I think you are too late for an 05 Super Duty Bro,
All mine were gone monday. Those trucks were the hottest item on the family plan. If you want an 06, which have more options anyway, get in touch with me and I will order exactly what you want.
Cheers!

my advice,
Wait til the 07 comes out. no more 6.0, the new 6.4 twin turbo should be a lot better.

Take into account the first model year teething problems the 6.0 liter had before considering the 6.4 for it's first year. Ford and International finally got the 6.0 screwed together half *** decently, and now they're gonna shelve it for the 6.4 twin turbo motor. I wonder about those guys.

Suncoast,

You didn't have any close to what I wanted but I will keep you in mind. I am going to wait till after 1 Aug to see what happends.

Isn't Ford supposed to be coming out with a diesel for the F150 in '07

The 6.0 will be bored out to 6.4 and recieve twin turbos. Kinda like the switch back when from the 6.9 to 7.3 IDIs. I will be taking a serious look in 07, and am already on a list to test drive when one comes in.

I would wait until '07 like everyone else is. I am in the same delema as you as in wanting a super duty, but these trucks are way cool too. Its gonna be really hard for me on '07 to not get a new truck. Good luck.
