How much would you sell these for?

On the red Chevy in my sig, ive got 5 white spoke wheels (6 bolt chevy 1/2 ton) with 5 new (less than 1000 miles) Big-O P235/75/R15 radial tires, still has the rubber hairs. Wheels are just plain painted white and dont have any rust, etc

Whats a fair asking price for all 5 wheels and tires?

:edit: heres a pic to show them a little better--ive got the original wheels/tires/hubcaps ready i just need to sell these....oh yea, theyre for sale if anyones interested....

Yea that was when vehicles had the room to carry an actual spare not just a dougnut. Even the cars had 5 tires! The spare was actually suppose to be part of the rotational cycle back then. When you bought a set you were suppose to buy 5.

just bought a set of 4 plain blackwall radial tires and put the original red steel wheels with chrome half-moon hubcaps on....looks like a completely different truck, i almost cried...well not really, ok yea i almost did, kinda, whatever.

Lots of pride in a father-and-son old truck restoration

Talking to a few people at work/at the tire shop/, etc, Im thinking I can get around 400 for these 5 wheels/tires....400 OBO if anyone wants them....

Sounds like a fair price. and IMHO those are about the best looking "Get R Done" truck wheels you can have on a pre 1980 truck... esp 4x4's...

However, the 5 wheels vs 4 wheels comment reminds me of a story my Pops told me, and since I'm typing, yeah, you gotta listen (or just roll your eyes, and skip this post) He told some guys he had a Chevy tranny in his old Ford Sedan Delivery, but they all told him he was crazy they would never bolt up. He finally got them to put some money on it, then went around to the back, opened the gate, and there behind the rear seats was a Chevy tranny on it's way home...

BTW, you got any pix yet with the original wheels?

It looks great with the wagon wheels... If it were mine I would hang on to them, keep them on for driving it around, and just put the originals on for shows and photo shoots...

sweet truck!
