Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Casting Call
Source: Finn Hiller Casting July 9, 2005
Finn Hiller Casting (Crash, Coach Carter) is seeking male actors of any ethnicity and Japanese female actresses leads in the Universal Pictures feature film, Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo. The film is about an obsessive street racer named Shaun who is exiled to Tokyo after annoying the local police once too often.
Shaun is treated like an outsider and mocked for being a gai-jin. He is drawn to the subculture of drift racing, a dangerous and sometimes deadly sport that he masters with startling speed. In the process, Shaun makes a deadly enemy and meets the love of his life, Tani.
Tani is a stunning Japanese girl who attends the same school as Shaun in Tokyo. When they interact at first, she dismisses him until she realizes that he is an obsessive street racer as well. Chaos arises when Shaun finds out that she is in fact D.K.'s girlfriend (the "Drift King" of Tokyo). Shaun enrages D.K. by challenging him to a drift race, while at the same time forming a friendship with Tani, which eventually evolves into a forbidden romance.
Reevise (Aka Twinkie) is a fellow classmate of Shaun, who is the first to befriend him in Tokyo. He too is car-crazy and drives a Nissan S15 Silvia. Initially Shaun is rude to Reevise, claiming "he doesn't need friends", but soon they develop a friendship as Reevise tutors Shaun on Japanese culture as well drift racing.
The third installment, to be directed by Justin Lin and produced by Neal Moritz, starts filming in Tokyo and Los Angeles on September 12, 2005. The script was writte by Chris Morgan and Kario Salem.

I don't care about the plot. When they mentioned asian women and cars they had me hooked.
Sounds gheyer than the first two. Im wondering though, how can they all be call Fast and Furious movies when the 2nd one had nothing to do with the first one, and it sounds like the 3rd one has nothing to do with the 1st or 2nd one, besides the fact that they have ricers in it??????????????????
Its always fun when the movies like that come to town and you drive by the movie theatre and its like RiceFest '05 there. Then when the movie is out they all tear around like hot ***** and you getta race em and smoke thier a$$ in your truck!
Best thing that has came from those movies.
Speaking of ricers, I was flippin through the channels the other day and saw some car show deal on ESPN so I stopped. At the time they were talkin to some moron 16 year old with some totaly riced out car. Kid was a total retard (i swear) and couldnt talk. Said his dad did all the work and paid for it all (had to be at least $120K in the car).
TV guy ask-"So man, whats the first thing you did to the car when you got it"
Moron 16 yr old.-"Me get da body ket"
Funny thing is I knew he was gonna say something along those lines. Body kit.

Hey guys, the first one was not that bad. I actually thought it was a pretty good movie, if you don't emphasize the rice cars. Plus it started the career of Vin Diesel, who I think is a very talented actor. Paul Walker's career might be over now that he did F&F 2.
