I know exactly what you mean. I had a 70 Mustang w/351 Cleveland that I wish I still had. The one in this picture is pretty close to what I had while stationed in Hawaii.

Does anyone ever visit the Collector Car Feature Ads to see what's out there and how much they are going for?
This is my friends car. We went to a show this past weekend. He took home best of show. He bought this car brand new when he was 17!! Its only got 65k miles on it. Its still in like showroom condition. 426Hemi. Awesome ride. I still personally like any Yenko Camaro or Chevelle. Also would love to have a COPO Camaro

I love all the mustangs but, i would love a Pantera, a 70's model. You have to love the rear engine 351c.

Now it's my turn to wet myself! The Pantera is my second, and that's a very close second choice, for one of the best all around classic muscle cars.

The Pantera was waaaaay ahead of its time. Unfortunately most folks didn't realize it.

Thanks much for posting these pics.

they did not have a six pack ,I think the only Ford that used 3 dueces was the 406 and maybe the 390 but I`m not sure.BTW Six Pack is a Mopar term Ford did not call 3 dueces a six pack.

And to answer the question I would take a Hemicuda

That's cool, I don't mind being corrected; I just know what I like and I definitely like the Cobra. Of course I definitely like a lot of cars (and trucks) but it doesn't mean I know every thing about them. I wish I did, but alas, I don't. Now if you want to talk about old Harley's, I can probably hold my own, figuratively, a bit better.

I agree, the Cobra never had three two's. However didn't the Cobra 427 S/C have dual quads? I think S/C meant "street/competition" or something like that.

BTW, I was pretty fond of my '87 Grand National. Had it five years until some lowlife snatched it in '92 and stripped it to the body and frame. Looked like a pro chop-shop job

If Panteras can be classified as musclecars instead of an exotic, then it's at the top of my list, too.

Nobody mentioned the Cougar XR7
