al;skfjojqowf got a flat!
My first flat in almost ten years... I just got back from helping my buddy work on his '78 F100, and his wife had a screw in her tire yesterday... Well, I pull in the garage and hear PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We just pressure washed the engine bay Saturday, so we probably washed some screws out into the street...
Oh, well... guess I'll be driving the Camino tomorrow...

What's really bad is having a flat on the side of the road and not having the tools to change it with you...even though you work on cars for a living...nope, not saying any names...:o
For simple punctures, I've carried a 'Safety Seal' plugging kit with me for years. I can fix a puncture in less than 5 minutes and I've never had a plug fail in 25 years. Naysayers can sit on the side of the road with a flat for hours waiting for a (very expensive) tow truck, or go without their vehicle for a day while they pay someone to fix it. I will never own a vehicle that doesn't have a Safety Seal plugging kit tucked under the seat.
I made sure my wife knew how to change a flat tire.
This training has come in handy over the years as there have been a few flats but, she has never been stranded.
Of course it just don't seem right, her jacking up the truck with me sittin' in it, so I always get out because I am a gentleman.

You're a good man...
I put the Stang up on a stand so it would sit on my flat tire all day. Yes, I was lucky to be at home. If it had been a little earlier in the day I'd have just put some air in, and headed over to get it fixed, but it was almost 10. I was afraid I'd forget this morning and hop in the Stang, but I was smart enough to put the Camino keys where I keep the Stang keys last night... I've used the plugs before, but I'm in no dire need, so I'd rather take it somewhere, and get a patch. It's right in the center of the tread...
Just ticked me off, especially since after I got the Camino out of the garage, and pulled the spare seats and trim out of the bed it wasn't until I got on the highway that I realized I was on E!
Oh, well, I like driving the Camino...
When I bought my L I was so excited (and the dealer a good friend) that I forgot to ask to get the worn tires replaced. Low on cash I went untill one of them was so worn in went flat. Finally got enough cash for 2 555rs. Went to my Army unit's Christmas Ball. All nice in my A's, gf in a nice dress. Come out and another tire is flat. And ofcourse Im about 200 miles away from home. and you guys with Ls know that the jack is impossible to use on an L with a flat tire. I had to bum a jack off of a fellow f150 owner just to get my L up high enough to fit my jack under one of the recomended spots. God I hate flat tires.
