Question State to State Warrants Information

Is it true that all states finally have a centralized system to share warrants information? I had heard about it a few years back but didn't know it finally went online until a friend told me about it. He said cops will get arrest you should you get pulled over here in TX. The strange thing is I did get pulled over a couple times this year but nothing happened. I got tickets from IL and FL from 2001 or 02.

It is true...at least for TX/OK, don't know about the rest

I live in Houston and it exists...I got arrested for a speeding ticket I received in Oklahoma that I paid and spent nine hours in county lockup waiting on the courthouse to verify that I paid the fine in 2001! (I was arrested three months ago) Needless to say I was more than a little pissed that I went to jail and dealt with some of the biggest scumbags and criminals I've seen together since the 94' Cowboys Super Bowl huddle. The guards at lock up were pretty cool to me though since it was just a speeding ticket warrant.

After everything was over, six months later I had to fight with the State DMV idiots to recondition my license and they didn't believe me either. I made sure to carry the reciept after that. Meanwhile, these same idiots handed me a concealed weapon permit in 2002 and yet never bothered to tell me that they suspended it over the error. I could have been charged with a felony since it was on me when I was arrested.

Pay your tickets Lean, and get a receipt. If not, keep the mustard packets...they are worth dessert to some people.
