I know a few people who work with stone... Done it a few times myslef.. what do you want to know?

I had though about joining about a year ago. I have a cousin and a friend who are Shriners, plus know several of the other Masons and Shriners on a first name basis. My cousin was going to sponsor me on my Mason app. I may do it sometime just didn't have time to study and still don't.

 

My dad drinks beer out of a mason jar ....Does that make him a mason

 

My dad is the Master of the Lodge.
I dunno if I'll ever get into the masons or not.. I'm thinking about it.

 

I'm thinking about it. My family are Masons going back many generations. Unfortunately, both my Grandfather and Father passed away before they could sponsor me (I truly think you need to be old enough to appreciate what the lodge stands for).

Now that I'm a little older and a little wiser (34) I think I may call the lodge my family belonged to and ask what's involved if I have no immediate sponsor.

I have my Grandfathers 32 deg ring (my sister has my Dad's 32)

Well, I'm a labor that tends to Stone masons 5 days a a week, I know a lot of stone masons and how they do the work, anythign I can help with???
