I remember when the 'Department of Relocation' up and moved my truck one day so they could work on the sidewalk. I came home from work, walked down the street I parked on to ensure my baby was OK, and found an empty spot where my truck once was. After many calls, somebody finally told me about the magical department. I called, gave them my plate #, and they gave me an address several blocks away. I checked it out... sure enough, there it was! WTF?! Talk about a heart-attack...

about a dozen years ago a always parked on a side street that was meter free. One day i noticed city work sighns, than next day parking meter posts with out a meter. Several days later i come back to my truck at the end of work, to find meters and a parking ticket. WTF... Call the city to compain about the ticket. They had recorded all the vehicle plate numbers and they resinded the ticket. Forgot all about that untill i read this post.
