Blower news
Just finished the latest Car & Driver. The got a sneak test of the new GT500 Mustang. According to the article it is getting a new version Eaton M122 roots style blower. Not a Lyshom twin screw. The reason for no twin screw was availability. Lyshom (sp?) cannot keep up with current demand let alone add additional requirements. Good guess that's why Whipple is late and by the sounds of things will be for some time. Out of their hands. My guess is if Ford can't steer Lyshom, Whipple has little chance of improving delivery.
New GT500 is going to be incredible. New head of SVT swears it will be under $40k. Between 450hp & 500hp. Magazine hinted heavily at 475hp. 0-60 in the 4.flat range and easy 12sec 1/4's.

We've been trying to explain this to everyone for sometime. The problem with getting the Whipple 2.3L is not with Whipple, its with Lyscholm.
Looks like they've come up with a solution, though. They're having someone else build them a completely new compressor. Don't have a time frame yet for availability though.
