Anyone ever fight Cancer?
thanks for all the advice guys, I really appreciate it. I definately will update this thread also. I go for a more "in-depth" biopse on monday to confirm the hogdkins and find the extent. I know alot of people with good medical connections, so I'll be able to get the best help possible. thank you everyone.
My uncle beat it and is in remission..... it can be done. Keep your spirits up and follow your doctor's orders strictly. You can pull through this! We're behind you 110%
Fortunately, Hodgkins Disease has a very high cure rate today. Good luck on your tests tomorrow! I will say a prayer to St Anthony for you and your family.
What you want to do know is what you've already started doing and others have suggested; get as informed as you can about all aspects of this disease as possible - so that you know what you are up against and what treatments have been successful - and when you sit down and discuss this with your parents you can tell them all about it and hopefully alleviate some of their fears. You need to tell your parents - they would want to know so that they can be "with you" through this ordeal.
I know a little about cancer as my mother died from cancer complications and I've had several aunts and uncles succumb to it - but I've also had several friends the past years successfully put cancer in remission.
Good luck to you - and you are not alone - we will all be thinking of you and praying for your successful recovery!

I've met tons of people with your type of condition. Hang in there bud, it's not as serious as the other types of cancers. BTW, the only medical opinions you should value are the ones from people who have medical degrees, not from someone who you think knows what he or she is talking about.
