Question Tonka Concept In Kansas

Does anyone know anything about how many of those Tonka concept trucks were built? I know that Toby Keith may have one, and that Ford has one stashed somewhere, but are there more?

The reason I ask is because one went rolling down I-70 through Goodland, KS last night. It was being driven, and not on a trailer. The windows were tinted so dark that there was no way of seeing the driver. Figures that there wasn't a camera around.

Anyway, one great looking truck. Thought maybe it was heading to that truck show in Kentucky. It was identical to this one.

Not sure if there are any more around. But I know one thing, if it ever hits the real market and is affordable, there's gonna be one in my driveway

Maybe it was Toby Keith. He has a concert in Kansas City on Sunday.

No, not as far as I know. You can get a license for a custom rod, so I don't see why you can't license a concept. In fact, if you can license a 3 wheeler made from half a motor cycle and the back half of a Volkswagon, then I'm sure you could license a concept as long as it meets the requirements of National Highway Safety Administration, or whatever it's called.

Seriously? That would be quite an attention magnet if it was him. I'd wonder if maybe a crew member wasn't taking it there for him or something.

Are you going to the show??? If you are, let me know if he brings it on stage for a tune or something!! I love that truck.

If I were at the concert (gotta work) and they brought me on stage to sing I'd clear the house in record time.

Lee Ann Womack is also there.
