Photoshop help, please?
A while back I posted this pic, and asked that somebody make the car orange for me, and someone did... Well, I've got a new request. I would like to see the same thing pretty much except I would like to see the bumpers and all trim the same orange, but the grill black... using the "Go ManGo" orange from the ugly Dodge below...
oh, and black top...
I was having a little trouble understanding what you wanted but I think I got it right...anywayz heres a quickie for you ( I couldn't get the color right to save my life)

I did a quickie too... The color is tuff because it's metalic and the truck dosn't have the same curves and lines so couldnt just lay in on behind the car. Couple hundred hours and it could be done perfectly but here is a draft to let you visualize it.

Forgot the black grille too.
Maybe Ill give it a shot once I get on my desktop. Photoshop on a laptop is a bish.
Just wondering if you guys desaturate the chrome pieces when you color them. I do that then click on hue/saturation and take some lightness out of it, then mess around with the color balance. You can usually get it really really close to the color. Just an idea for ya. Best tway Ive found to make chrome color since chrome sucks in photoshop.

NAh I only had about 10 mins so I just made layer from back ground, selected the car, feather selection, layer via cut, then took a chunk from the truck and layed it in the back, then added some filters to mimic metallic flake, lighting effects to mimic the light source direction of the original pic, adjusted layer color using curves, added some contrast to create highlights decreased opacity of orginal (white) car and called it good enough for now.
PS Newb here with a quick question... How do you select the "car" so flawlessly? I've got PS 7 which has all kinds of bells & whistles I just don't know the right combination of bells & whistles... and then "add"/"change" the color?
I've got a PS 5.0 book my GF's friend loaned me a while back, just found it. What would I need to look under in there to maybe find some of these answers? It's about an inch thick...
I'm hoping to get a really good pic of a '67 Belvedere convertible in the combo I described above... I want to know what I'm getting into. She may be going to the body shop as early as August, and I want to make sure I've got it all figured out before then.
I'm even thinking about buying a welder, and filling in all the trim holse myself. Save the body guy some time/effort and hopefully save me enough to justify buying a welder...
