Get a Chesepeake Bay Retriever

 

Jamz...one word...GETALAB! They're awesome dogs. Who cares if a lot of people have them...a lot of people wear shoes to work too, and that doesn't stop you...or does it?

 

Jamz, Labs are great, my daughter's family has an 80 lb brute, Chocolate. My Rat Terrier takes total control of him when they are together. It is funny to watch, she weighs about 17 lbs. so he puts up with a lot. He is a great dog for their family. You might consider rescuing one from the Humane Society or the pound. I love all those success stories when one is saved.
