Going on vacation
The time has come to address my internet addiction. I'm leaving tomorrow night to spend a week in Canada. I'll be in a log cabin many miles North of anything resembling civilization.

My father has been going every year for about 6 years now. I went with him two years ago and this year I was fortunate enough to take the place of his buddy who cancelled out. I'm looking forward to lots of fishin' time and absolutely NO communication with the outside world for 5 full days! And this year I'm in better financial shape to skip town for 9 days without worry. Yup, the Skwerl will be taking a major Chill Pill and should be plenty mellow by the 29th when I return.

When I was in Jamaica may 1st thru 8th my F150online addiction was killing me. the only thing that got me throught it was scuba diving twice a day, so I know what you are talking about Rocky.

My addiction is going to suffer a major blow in a few short weeks. We are getting ready to move from Alaska to Washington. When we get to Washington we are planning on buying a house and while waiting for offers to be accepted and closing to be complete we will be living with my folks. They have no computer, no internet, no cable...ho-hum. Looking at about 2 months with only occasional trips to the library
. I am taking my computer with me because I don't trust the movers with it so I'm thinking I should try to talk my folks into DSL while I'm there. Don't know if its available in their area though. I'm going to suffer major withdrawals!
