Maybach Exelero: V12, 700 HP, Torque 740 ft-lbs

700 horsepower and a killer body, the Maybach Exelero may hint a new high-performance model from the ultra-lux sedan maker. The V-12 coupe is based on the Maybach 57 and designed to test a high-speed tire for the German tire manufacturer Fulda. The Exelero needed to surpass the 188 mph mark for Fulda. The super-Bach can get to 55 mph in 4.4 seconds with the help of two turbochargers and 740 ft-lbs of torque

Wow---

I need a cold shower....

And, a cigarette....

700 HP; where will it end??

Actually- now that I've accessed my mental Rolodex- the Bugatti Veyron has 1,008 HP. Why 1,00*? Why not 1,000, or 1,010.

1,008?!

The only thing I don't like is the mirrors.

They should call it the Maybach Beaver because it looks like one with that grille.

Mind you, if Edsel had gone with that name, they might have had a better seller too.

Conversion factors from brake horsepower (BHP) that is more common in Europe. Just a different way to measure HP, gives a slightly different result.
