Best wishies,
realizing this is a scam, here is my reply.. feel free to mess with him a bit if you guys want
There has been a price change. I found out that Pope John Paul II has ridden in it before I bought the (2000 L, 28k miles) and he actually signed the dashboard. The price has changed to 119,000 dollars, as advised by my financial advisor, Yuri A. Geybich. If you could please tell your client to strip naked and lube up his hind end so I can insert my boot in it that would be great (greeting ritual in my country). I will know he is good for the deal once this happens, and you can get my mailing address. Thanks a lot Solex *****.

I just about got ripped by one of those things... but it wasn't nearly that ludicrous. I was selling my PS2 on eBay last fall and had a winning bidder. They used Western Union online to do the financing and I got an email from WU that my check was in the mail from them and it was now safe to ship the item.
I had never had that happen to me before but I checked it out on the WU website and it's legit. Well the next day I sent it out UPS and the following day my UPS guy brings it back to me. He said "We've had a ton of these sorts of things going through our office, and a lot have been reported as scams. Did the guy use Western Union online?"
I replied that he had, and the UPS man then told me to check it again and make sure I get the money order before I ship, and never trust Western Union. Sure enough, the MO had been purchased with a fake credit card and had been cancelled.
Moral of the story: What can Brown do for you? Save ya $200.

funny thing; right after I posted this, I checked my mail, and I just got Phished...
Got an email from the bank asking me to update my personal and account info due to 'unauthorized login attempts'
Now I'm not dumb enough to fall for this, even if it 'looks' legit, but the funny thing is, not only do I not have an account with this bank, but I've never even heard of it in the first place. Just playing around for a few minutes, I went to the spoof site to check it out. It's a pretty well done spoof site; but I found the actual site I was linking to in the original script I was emailed. It actually goes through something called http://checkstate.com.
A quick 'whois' on that domain pointed me to a fellow named James in Eastwood, Nottingham in the United Kingdom. This domain was just created a few days ago. Apparently the 'charterone bank' scam is fairly popular in the UK. Guess I'm just a lucky american who got it

I've received a ton of those phishing email in the past, especially for ebay and paypal accounts. I turned it into a hobby of filling out there web pages with bogus info:
Username: whatdoyouthinkiam
Password: af@ckingmoron
email: biteme@scammerssuck.com
Things like that.
One of them was stupid enough to include an email address, just in case I "couldn't access the account update page". Needless to say, he was quickly subscribed to every **** mailing list I could find.
