trailer coating??

has anyone herculined or like materialed an entire trailer?? instead of taking my boat of the trailer to paint the trailer, i thought it might easier to just roll on some bedliner. the trailer is white, so i was thinking about gettin the white roll/brush on bedliner for the entire trailer, and then on the back corners or steps where it is carpeted, to just roll on some black there and the little corners in front of the fenders. anyone done a similar project at all?? pics of the white bedliner on a trailer by chance?? any pics at all??!! also, how well do decals stick to the bedliner products?? do they at all??

also, anyone on here know of a great boat forum similar to this site??

What is the purpose?
If your trailer has bunks, carpet would work best.
There aren't any other 'contact' areas.

The bedliner material is for areas that take abuse (bang, scrape, etc...)
It work gtreat for something like a wheelbarrow but I can't see the advantage on a trailer.

If it's salt water your trying to get protection from there are better, cheaper and lighter products.

wow- first the hitch, now this!! nice chattin with ya!

the bunks will stay carpeted. i was just meaning the carpet area behind the wheelwell/fender for black bedliner. some people put grip tape there and up top anyways, but i thought that if i'm doing the rest of the trailer in bedliner, why not there too.

the front of my trailer on the frame where it angles in is pretty pitted up, and i have no way of keeping the boat off the trailer for a very long period of time to paint, and i don't want to chance ANY overspray at all on the boat, hence the roll on white bedliner for the trailer. i figure if i'm doing the fronts, that i might aswell maybe do the rest and fenders while at it. i don't know, just a thought.

I couldn't figure out what you were talkin about at first.
I thought you sprayed a hitch just to tick me off.
That's something I would do.

This stuff is unreal. You can usually pick it up on ebay for a little less than full price.
