Ahhhh, c'mon, post some pics. You've been here long enough to handle the ribbing. So let's go, don't be a sissy, post up..

NP Bucky. I'd do the same thing if I were you. I have an 80 mile commute (round trip) and I dont like shelling out the $$$$$ for the price of fuel right now. We ALL understand.

Okay here it is. Now it gets 27-30 miles per and is 4x4 auto and today i took it up to the high end and was hovering right around 112 mph and about 4000 rmp. I think it still had a little left, all in all its not as bad as i thought it would be. Its not a bad little suv...

Smart man!

I bought a '97 Accord about two years ago to save gas & wear on my F150. I save roughly half a car payment in gas each month, so I'm only out about $130 a month. Insurance is cheap too.

I like it! Wifey is looking at one of those or a Mazda 6 to replace our aging Buick.
I'm partial to the green as well

What would you rather have:

$3120 per year in gas spent($60 fill up for 52 weeks) or $6240 per year cost for a commuter vehicle (payments, gas, insurance)

What do you have at the end of that year for each decision?
The $3120 in gas just more miles on your truck, nothing else.
The $6240 in total cost for a commuter vehicle has equity built into it......

Can you sell the gas when your done? Nope, but you can sell off the commuter car and recoupe a big chunk back.

I'd get the commuter vehicle also......

You didn't factor in some of that $3120 in gas he's now putting into the commuter.

It could be more like:
$9000 + by having two trucks.

Still - I like the RAV...good trucks

Hey Jim,

Your 'other' commuter is not bad enough to get you pointed and laughed at . My neighbor has one of those and it's a tan color. How's the interior? Can you take some pics? Are you gonna MOD it any?? For real?
