For those that are interested I just got back from Austin after completing the written and physical assessment parts of their application process.
I tied for highest score in my class on the written however the girl that I tied against got D/Qed today on the physical side so I'm now #1 on that.
I scored 2nd fastest on the O course being beat by only 2 seconds. I also made top 5 times (Not sure exact time cause I was sprinting and not paying attention to the time keeper at the end) for the 1.5 mile run.
The O course really freaked me out cause we had two marines in there and one of them was so worn out near the end of the course that his legs gave out for a second as he went up the stair obstacle.
Finished up with the background statement packet which is like 30 pages and have to turn in a credit report, then it’s off for polygraph, oral board and general physical exam. For those interested I'll update the thread letting ya know how each step of the road goes however so far it's looking good.
Also out of 2,600 original applicants only 400 remain. Our class started with 27 yesterday and ended with 13 today. I'm also currently the youngest out of the 2,600 and the youngest to try out in 5 years.
