Cool Power Tool Drag Racing!!!

Is anyone else watching Power Tool Drag Racing on the Discovery Channel?

This is the most entertaining thing on shade tree engineers since Robot Wars! I love it.

One that just ran in the ride on class was a skill saw used in a slaughter house to cut cattle in 1/2. Estimated speed 30 MPH! But they opted to not install any brakes of any kind for the weight factor...

I love this show even more now....

They just disqualified a machine from the Unusual Class that was flying a French flag.

Reason for disqualification: "To French"
God Bless America!!!

Classic...
In the unussall design class the winner reached 127.6 MPH in 97 feet smoking his competitor that ran 97.? mph in the 97 feet... That is just insane!!!

There was nothing else on... Kind of neat to see the different tools that people came up with to power thier machines...

Probably wouldn't watch it if there was something else on, but since there wasn't it was entertaining.

It was orignially on Monday nights at 8. Watched it for a few minutes a couple times but kept getting bored & changing the channel. It replaced Monster House. Bad mistake in my book moving Monster house off Monster Monday but what do I know. All I know is that I never remeber to watch Monster House on Fridays & I hardly watch Monster Garage or American Chopper anymore. Too bad since Monday nights was always Monster Monday in our house.

Mondays use to be Monster night at our house too... I really didn't care for monster house all that much. But some of thier ideas were neat. But now that it's warming up, the days are longer, basebal season for the kids, etc., etc., the we are either not at home or outside. Especially on Friday nights

Your darn skippy we will!!!

Some didn't even have engines... the 127 mph champion was a sling shot... and the 97 mph 2nd place was an over charged Fire extinquesher (sp?)
