Everything was going fine, until I heard the 40 foot walls blocking out Canada. I like Canada. The women are HOTT, and the chaps are cool. Dont you agree, eh?

Damn-skippy on that wall..

And, just to discourage border penetrations more- I suggest covering that wall with concertina and razor wire, then electrifying the whole thing...

I'm not racist, but dang it- if you're gonna come over here- do it the right way, not the night way.

I'll never understand how America spends millions if not billions of dollars annually on Welfare and other programs for ILLEGAL ALIENS..

If they're illegal, kick their illegal butts out, and save the dough. You, and your truly American baby that you had on our soil, can come back when you've filled out the proper paperwork... and can speak English.

Either that, or make Mexico the 51st state....

Another peeve: Nothing ticks me off more than to call a bank, store, etc.. and have the thing say- "For Directions in English, press one; para Espanol press two." Isn't this America? Everything should be in English- and if you can't speak it, read it, or understand it- then too bad.

I bet if I moved to Russia, they wouldn't change their stuff to fit me. What's next? Hongul, Deutch?

Not a racist here either cia but you are right on the Mexico thing. I go out to the Big Bend area twice a year for a week long ATV trip with a buddy. You would not believe the money and resources being used out there just to patrol the border for illegal crossings. We were riding right along the Rio Grande one time and got buzzed twice by bad azz Border Patrol choppers seeing what we were up to...these things couldnt be cheap!

Dude . . .you have no idea . . . you WAY UNDERESTIMATE the cost.

Check this out.

In Los Angeles County alone . . . I repeat, JUST L.A. County, we spent over 5 BILLION (that's 5 billion . . . with a "B") last year to pay for illegal aliens schooling of their children, hospital/medical care, and other benefits.

That's five billion IN ONE YEAR . In just L.A. County alone. And each year it gets worse. That's my tax money going to pay for criminals in this country illegally.

Recently, a local Hispanic TV station placed 72 billboards around the city. At the top of the billboard it said "Los Angeles, CA", and CA is crossed out and Mexico is written in.

The tag at the bottom means "Your city. Your station" Evidently since this city has become so overrun with Mexican illegal aliens, it's now THEIR city, and by population default we have been annexed to Mexico.

Needless to say, this caused a bit of anger, and a local radio station, which has really been against illegal immigration responded with this billboard:

I have no problem with LEGAL immigration, which results in registration and that results in proper payment of wages with TAXES deducted from their pay . . . but as it is now, these folks come into the country, work and get paid under the table, pay no taxes, use social welfare benefits they did not pay for . . . AND . . . get this, it is estimated that of the money earned by illegals, 20 billion dollars was sent back to mexico to families there. That means that 20 Billion that could be circulating in this economy for goods and services went over the border illegally.

You've obviously never VOTED in California before. Here in the People's Republic of California, ballots are printed in over 30 languages.

That is so sad.

I know a lot of people in Texas think it's OK for immigrants to come over to the US. I for one AM NOT one of those few.

I can not stand to go to Taco Bell, or Jack in the Box and order through the drive thru.

If you are coming to MY country, at least learn the language, I shouldn't have to learn spanish to order a friggin Jumbo jack (yumbo yack).

makes me sick.

Yup, and these are the people that says, "it's ok" for immigrants to come over to the US, work for a few months, and then go back over to Mexico.

I can understand WHY they do it, but that doesn't make it right. Something has to be done.

Here here jamz. One of the worst offenders here in S.A. is Taco Cabana. they've been busted several times the last few years hiring illegals. Its a real treat to go in for lunch and have to "point" out what you want on the menu!

.... The 40 foot wall sounds like a great Idea too. Thanks for the Tip !

I can see it now, The Great Wall Of America
A 40 foot wall the entire length of the US border?
Do you have any idea how much a project like that would cost?
The fixed cost on material means we'd only be able to realize savings on labor dollars.

Where would we find enough people willing to work that long for those kinds of wages?

Ahhh the irony....

get the illegal immigrants to build the wall and make sure they put the finishing touches on from the south side of the wall.

Thank the liberal sensitivity to discrimination in the 60s for most of your "push 2 for spanish" instructions.

The Immigration Act of 1965 started the shift from European immigration to 3rd world countries.

The biggest problem is that America is no longer a melting pot with a common culture but diverse pockets of nationals still loyal to the mother country but coming here to reap the benefits of this country.

Frankly I don't care what country the people come from as long as they are loyal to and love the US. Accept its general moral priniples and traditons as the guiding force behind our laws. They are free to practice anything they won't but don't expect the country as a whole to accept/endorse your beliefs. If you are out of the cultural norm, some discomfort can be expected (taking off a veil for a drivers license and learning English). Accept it as part of the costs of living in the greatest nation in the history of mankind. Be thankful and respect the nativity scene on the White House lawn.

I read in the paper a year or three ago that there is a town in southern Texas that has almost a 100% Mexican population, so- they have the Mexican flag waving at City Hall.

Ain't that a b***h?

Vader- you had me laughing out loud with that "Finishing touches on the south side of the wall" statement.

Bwaaaahahahahahaha...

Hey, maybe that would trim back on some of the ecstacy & cocaine coming in here too..

Hey, if the cost is too high for a 40 foot fence, a 30 footer will do well too- I want my electrified concertina & razor wire on it though...

Ya' know whether somebody is locked out or you are locked in, is just a matter of what side the doorknob is on.
