Name That Company
Name That Company
We were just handed a paper that we have to "name that company" in my business law class, anyone know the answer?
I'm the global leader in records management and have been storing boxes of documents for companies since 1951. More than half of the Fortune 500 companies use me, and I serve more than 200,000 accounts on several continents. I store mostly paper, but also computer disks and tapes, microfilm, audio and video tapes, X-rays and blueprints. I can retrieve or destroy whichever records you want. My disaster recovery division can back up your data and store it off site. You might call me Ferrous Peak. Who am I?

Well I looked up a key phrase. I was betting your prof didnt write that himself. Turns out it is a Montley Fool trivia question for this week. Either way, Google "Records management" and 1951 and walla.

Apologies for hijacking this thread, but when you mentioned disaster recovery, I thought of a company that specializes in that along with trust accounting for mid-sized banks. SunGard Systems
The company just completed a sale to a consortium of buyers... Goldman Sachs, etc. It was selling for a low as 22 dollars a few months ago, it is selling for 33 or 34 right now. If you are a shareholder of record once the sale is approved, you will get 36 dollars per share. Information I have is that other companies are looking at it and it may well receive a more competitive bid and the 36 dollar price may rise. Transaction is due to be completed in the third quarter of this years. Worse case scenario is the whole deal falls through, then the company, which is very profitable, will probably see a temporary drop in stock prices, but then a steady rise to above the 36 figure mentioned.
