Thanks again Bill Murray for the help with that one, I still owe you one.
So Georgia must not have any drag strips then.???

My buddy once took his girl to a lighted church parking lot (around midnight) in a populated area then got mad when the cops showed up and gave his woman a ticket for break curfew. WHY WOULD YOU TAKE A GIRL TO A CHURCH PARKING LOT??? Crazy.

Here in Texas I believe that the owner of the property has to press charges for citations to be able to hold up. I can't count the number of stories of people running a stop sign or speeding in a mall parking lot and wreck into somebodies car and the cops saying we can't ticket them because it's on private property not a public road. And since they didn't receive a ticket they legally aren't at fault, so guess who's insurance has to pay, the person that got hit...not the guy who ran the stop sign.

In Fourth Chronciles it clearly states:

I picked up a bible with the intent of looking up the verse quoted and there was a mighty clap of thunder. I put the book down and slowly backed away. Everyone is safe.

This is a fascinating thread...not sure Jesus is gonna hold a grudge about the skid marks in the parking lot. Surely he has better things to do :\ Some cops are cool while others need a hemroid cure.

Yeah, I know, I'm going to hell.

probably not. He's still fuming about that group that started the "what would Jesus drive" campaign.

but in the state of ohio you can be cited for reckless op on private property even with permission from the property owner.
then again with out writen permission to be on the church lot afterhours with you. no good officer would take anyones word for it, believe it or not people lie to the POlice.
also no respecting pastor will give someone permission to come on a church lot to do donuts and a cop would not believe that even in writing. not saying your pastor is not respectable but that he did not know your fulll intent on his lot, i hope.
what would the pastor do if someone got hurt during this, he would likely get charged.
also people around here don't think about it, but most pastor's don't own churches. either they owned by the people in a whole or a large church group that owns and controls that branch of church like: church of god's or Zion churchs.

i like to have fun and i like to spin the tires just like every one else just find a better more respectable place and you will get less slack from the law

you might not like what i said or my .02 cents on it but after 11 years as a deputy its my .02 cents
You can be cited for reckless on any commercial or public accessable areas. Even if a parking lot is private, it is used by the public and open to the public, therefore the cops can issue citation on that property. If you want to lay down a parking lot on your personal property, or behind your house, you can drive however you want and the police cannot come on your property unless they have received a complaint or have a warrant.
