I felt so sorry for her (kinda) If you sing the national anthem of any country make sure you know the words! Or that could happen. On behalf of ALL Canadian's SORRY for her ignorance in messing up your anthem.

 

And we got spanked in the USA vs. Canada game 5-1. Ouch. Congrats on the gold medal.

 

Cut the kid some slack.

She was nervous and a bad moment was made worse by the crowd and it snowballed when her emotions overcame her.

At least she had the guts to go on National TV the next day and sing it without problems. Good for her.

 

I felt bad for her also. She has more guts then me! I don't think I could stand in front of a croud like that and sing are national anthem!

 

Your the same guys trying to outlaw red ink on school papers aren't you? Your too soft.

 

it brings back memories of the baseball game where the American color guard had the Canadian flag upside down and the time the American lounge lizard singer didn't know the tune to our anthem. He sang it like Nana Mouskouri(sp?) covering ABBA covering Terry Jacks singing Seasons In The Sun....

 

But that's okay because it's the other way around.
