I Have the Best Wife Ever!!!

I posted this in another thread but thought it deserved it's own thread....

Saturday while pulling our new to us boat to the lake she stated that our next major purchase would be a camper. "I'm not big on camping, but she loves it and if it gets me to play on the lake earlier with out losing sleep thats not all bad either.." While disussing how to get a boat & camper to the lake I was discussing tandem trailering them. To do this the boat has to be last because of the lower unit is in the way for a hitch on the boat trailer. Soooo, I suggested that we would have to get a 5th wheel camper and put the boat behind that because a pop up would be to light and it would jack knife when I hit the brakes. Since the boat trailer does not have brakes and the boat is not real light. It will take a heavy camper to keep it from pushing it. "It's a 76 Marquie (sp?) Tri Hull with 5.0L Mercruiser V8 I/O!"

She was silent for a minute then looks at me and says....
"Your just going to have to get a bigger truck!"
My reply...
First was:
Followed by when I realized she was serious: "Baby I love you so much right now!"

I'm thinking maybe an F-350 Turbo Power Stroke, S-Crew?????
hmmmm

My wife didn't bat an eyelid when I said I was getting the HD.
She just said "If you really want one, get it"

Got to love them wifeys

Mind you, she spends more on shoes than I do on cars

I just bought this truck last September and now she is suggesting that we get a bigger one now.
I had not said anything about wanting a bigger truck, hadn't really thought about it... Well very much anyway.

I was looking to buy a used crew truck in 2003,but the wife said no to that.Told me to get a new one of my choice and don't even think about a used vel,I looked and looked at the trucks for weeks then ordered my SuperCrew FORD.She gave me the check book and told me to get the ext warranty also when I got it and all my extras I wanted for it.

Add Ons
Go Rhino® Products, Sumatra 3000 Series StepGuard and tail light guards
Spray Rhino Lining
Daytime Running Lamp Module
Roll-N-Lock bed cover
Gold remote start and alarm from ford
K&N® HIGH-FLOW AIR FILTER
Bug shield

How can you beat a wife like that. Here a while back I made a remark about the new trucks and she asked me if I wanted a new one,I said no way I have only 10k on my truck and I like what I have, just like to look not buy.

You betcha.

My wife rocks too. She wants me to get a Bike. She wants a camper, and a new mustang. Outstanding cook. Does a wonderful job at keeping the house straight, and spoils the shiznit out of me.

I mean - WOW, what more does a man want?

When we decided, after racing season last year, to step up into a toterhome or motorhome for racing I told hubby he had to get rid of the Excursion. After about an hour of discussing we figured the best replacement, that he wouldn't get bored with quickly, was the new Stang. Ordered it in Jan, picked it up last week, he couldn't be happier (unless he had a built motor in the L). Sometimes the best choice turns out to be the one you want.
