Is the 2004 redesign worth the extra cash?

Based on body style alone I prefer the 97-03 myself. I think my 01 Screw's kinda purdy.

I never owned a truck before this one, BUT while sitting in a dealers showroom while a friend was checking out the new
Rangers I had a chance too check out a '04 xlt that was in there,
next thing you know i'm shopping for one with the specs I wanted and quickly traded out of my Jeep.. I love my truck...

Faster, you hit the nail on the head for me. The transplanted 99 seats in my 98 are more comfy than the seats in my friends 04. I don't get the hard foam that seems to be the norm in most cars and trucks lately. And what's up with that new scratchy fabric? IMO they went down in quality on that point.,,,,98

Get an 04 STX (Heritage). I have never been happier with a vechicle.
