Spring maintainance- Edger oil change ??

I've got a Bolens 4-stroke, walk behind edger. I'm in the process of doing the yearly spring maintainance on the rig and the manual is calling for SAE30 oil.

Not that I'm cheap, but I've got a crap load of 10W30 oil laying around the garage that I can't use in the F-150.

My question is... can I use the 10W30 in the edger instead of the SAE30. The edger has a 5hp Briggs and Stratton engine.

Yes it's fine for your edger. Oil consumption may increase slightly so check it every time you use it.

Not that it is the same, but I have a Toro mower with a Brigs and Stratton engine. It states to use 10w30 or straight 30, particularly synthetic for the straight.
